North Yorkshire

We have been growing soft fruit for over 20 years; The season runs from beginning of June to end of August, depending on the crop; We have lots of other homegrown superfresh vegetables too. Payment: Cash, Cheque, Debit cards, Visa/MasterCard. This multi award winning farmshop and cafe is a great day out for the whole family. It specialises in â€˜superfresh’ homegrown fruit & vegetables and rare breed meats. ‘Superfresh’ means picked from the fields and sold within hours/minutes cutting out the food miles. Both shop and cafe offer the finest homemade food including quiches, scones, soups and seasonal dishes. Directions: Do not follow sat nav, you will end up half a mile away in Bridge Court! From Leeds: Follow A61. Once you have crossed Harewood Bridge into North Yorkshire, we are the 1st farm on the left, approximately 800 metres after the bridge. From Harrogate: Travel towards Leeds on the A61. We are the last farm on the right before Harewood Bridge. Crops are usually available in July, August. Open: 7 days a week 10am to 6pm. Picked asparagus, rhubarb, lettuce 1st May to approximately 27th June; Strawberries 1st July for 3 weeks; Raspberries 14th July for 3 weeks; Cultivated blackberries (much larger than hedgerow type) 27th July for 2 weeks; All other fruit, flowers, salads and vegetables available from 1st July for 6 weeks. We minimize use of pesticides and other chemicals. Payment: Cash, Cheque. Wheat and corn for hens, pigeons and other birds. We are open for ready picked asparagus/rhubarb/lettuce from May 1st to June 26th. Pick Your Own is only open in July for 6 weeks. Strawberries do not grow in open fields in North Yorkshire in August. South Yorkshire

East Yorkshire

West Yorkshire

Yorkshire (not otherwise specified)

Directions: If coming from Leeds or North of York on the A64 turn off at the Askham Bryan A1237 junction. Continue straight over the roundabout and onto the A1237. Take the first exit on the left, which is approx a mile, and the field is directly in front of you. We are open June, July. Our hours are: The PYO is open every day 9 till 6 but this is dependent on the weather. Please see notices at the field for more details when we are open We will be opening mid to late June for Strawberries with other fruit and vegetables following on, especially our delicious new potatoes. Raspberries should be ready early July.

We offer PYO in the summer months. We harvest our fresh homegrown fruit and vegetables daily for sale in the farmshop, as well as our rare breed meats and other locally produced items such as preserves, ice cream etc. We also have a cafe with a beautiful landscaped garden and children's play area.     A visitor writes on June 22, 2009: "We stopped in here today to see what was up, and talked to a nice lady who said they had bought the place last Nov (2008). She says it needs a lot of work, and the fruit fields are full of weeds, but they are hoping to have it back in order for Summer 2010. Watch This Space!"
